Miles has surfed the Newcastle area for over 25 years and has introduced countless of beginners to our wonderful lifestyle of surfing.

A full-time Professional Level 2 Surf Coach Miles coaches smaller group lessons to provide a more personal level of surfing instruction. Groups have a maximum student/coach ratio of 6:1. Miles conducts all lessons for great continuity and consistency. With a passion for what he does Miles adheres to the “soul surfer” approach to surfing. The surfer having the most fun in the water is the happiest surfer not the most skilled surfer.

Keep a smile on your face, enjoy your time in the water and be friendly to other surfers.

Surfing is a great lifestyle, fun and fitness at the same time. The waves are always different and it's great to get out there and enjoy them with friends or family. Becoming a surfer takes time and practice, so getting some help will speed up the learning curve and provide a solid platform to build on.
